Learn more about DEI at Seismic here. • Help lead a US based engineering team while collaborating and driving technical and architectural decisions • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and software engineers to rapidly build, test, and deploy code to create innovative solutions and add values to our customers' experience with Seismic. • Explore new technologies and industry trends and bring your findings to life in our products. • Participate in and contribute towards code reviews, bug/issue triage, and documentation. • Contribute to troubleshooting and continuous quality improvements. • 8+ years of experience in software development, with a strong background in Ruby on Rails (RoR) or related language. • Proficiency in modern web development technologies, including JavaScript, React) • Strong knowledge of SQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL). • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). • Deep understanding of scalability, performance optimization, and security best practices in web applications. • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps practices. Leadership & Management Qualifications • 3+ years of experience leading engineering teams, managing projects, and mentoring developers. • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience in sprint planning. • Experience in performance management, and career development for engineers. • Effective cross-functional communication with product managers, designers, and stakeholders. • Strong problem-solving skills and a data-driven approach to decision-making If you are an individual with a disability and would like to request a reasonable accommodation as part of the application or recruiting process, please click here.
