As a DevOps Software Engineer, you will embark on a high-impact career journey, serving as a key driver of efficiency within a large-scale enterprise system. In this job, you will automate complex workflows, leveraging CI/CD mastery to streamline the entire software delivery lifecycle.
Your Responsibilities:
Your primary objective is to transition manual processes into scalable, automated workflows. You will design the sophisticated pipelines that allow our teams to build, test, and deploy software with precision and reliability.
Day-to-day functions include:
  • Pipeline Architecture: Design, build, and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines to support seamless continuous integration, delivery, and deployment.
  • Process Automation: Identify systemic manual bottlenecks and implement automation to significantly improve operational efficiency.
  • Tooling Management: Select, configure, and maintain the industry-leading tools that support software development and integrated testing.
  • Infrastructure Optimization: Implement and support automation tools while optimizing the underlying IT infrastructure to ensure peak performance.
  • Security & Compliance: Ensure all system improvements and architectural changes maintain rigorous security standards.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with agile teams across the program, demonstrating ownership and persistence to achieve shared mission goals.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Clearance: Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance with an appropriate polygraph.
  • Experience: Minimum of 8 years of relevant DevOps experience, with at least 5 years focused on managing software development, deployment, and integrated testing tools.
  • Frameworks: 5+ years of experience working with CI/CD frameworks.
  • System Administration: Meaningful experience in system administration, primarily Windows, with supporting Linux experience.
  • Technical Proficiency: Experience with several of the following: Java, Groovy, Python, PowerShell, Batch, Bash, JavaScript, and AngularJS.
  • Tooling: Proficiency with IDEs (such as VS Code, Visual Studio, Eclipse, or WebStorm) and software source control/configuration management tools.
  • Virtualization: Experience working in virtualized environments, including managing virtual machines (VMs) and container-based platforms for automated deployment.
  • Professional Competencies: Strong understanding of software development principles, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to produce high-quality work independently within a fast-paced team environment.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Database Management: Experience with Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or SQL Server.
  • Web Development: Experience with Spring Framework, AngularJS, JSON, HTML, XML, and XSLT.
  • Agile Methodology: Experience with Scrum or the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe); SAFe Agilist certification is highly desirable.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $149603 - $254317
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
