Basic Qualifications • Candidate must have an active TS/SCI security clearance • U.S. Citizenship required for access to the work facility • Must have a DoD 8572 qualified certification such as CompTIA Security+ (or be able to acquire within 60 days) • Experience with Operating Systems life cycle management and configuration management (i.e., Installation/Upgrades, System Imaging, Account Management, Print Services, integration with Domain Services, Hardware Modernization, Performance Monitoring, etc.) • Experience using and administrating Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) • Direct work experience with scripting and automation (i.e., Ansible, Python, Bash, PowerShell, etc.) • Must have a solid understanding of Linux file permissions, and log-file troubleshooting tactics. • Experience with vulnerability remediation and security management (i.e., system hardening, log management, configuration management (i.e., Nessus, McAfee, WSUS, SCCM, Ivanti, Shavlik, Blade Logic, Splunk, ACAS, SCAP, HBSS, etc.)) Job Description Our employees are the core of everything we do, and they are helping the future arrive. This Enterprise Operations (EO) position supports the Lockheed Martin Space division located in Denver, CO. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing support to the critical programs under the responsibility of the Space Division. This IT professional will ensure that the Lockheed Martin IT systems are managed, controlled, and compliant with the Corporate Information Protection Manuals (CIPM). This includes upgrades, operations and maintenance, hardware and software installations, and service requests (servers, workstations, containers, networking, and storage), continuity of operations (backups and verified restore capabilities). In this position, the chosen candidate will utilize their system administration and architecture skills as primary IT support for several classified environments. • Install/configure Linux operating systems and software applications • Perform periodic audits of system security settings • Install operating system security patches and firmware updates • Create/manage security groups • Coordinate hardware repair activities • Schedule and monitor data backups • Diagnose and resolve hardware/software problems/issues • Create scripts to automate system administration tasks • Knowledge of DevOps management tools (ansible, chef, puppet, git, terraform, etc.) • Provision virtual environments using VMware • In light of current internal business pressures, priority consideration will be given to qualified candidates who are currently affiliated with the Enterprise Operations’ EBDT (Enterprise Business & Digital Transformation) organization.** #EBDT Desired Skills • An active TS/SCI security clearance with an active CI Poly • Knowledge of Linux authentication with Active Directory • Knowledge of VMware for virtualization of servers • Knowledge of National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), Risk Management Framework (RMF) and Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) Requirements • IT related certifications (i.e., MCSE, VMWare, RHCE, CISSP, etc.) • Knowledge of OpenStack, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud • Knowledge of restoration/storage services (i.e., NetApp/EMC hardware, software, tape management, disaster recovery practices) • Technical understanding of broad spectrum of IT technologies (servers, containers, storage, network, cloud) Other Important Information By applying to this job, you are expressing interest in this position and could be considered for other career opportunities where similar skills and requirements have been identified as a match.
