Job Description The coolest jobs on this planet… or any other… are with Lockheed Martin Space. We are looking for an individual to join the Ground Product Lines Team as a Dev Sec Ops Developer. You will work directly with customers to implement and enhance their environments and DevSecOps capabilities. Lockheed Martin's GPL Team develops and operates engineering and sustainment solutions for commercial, military and intelligence users across the globe. The candidate will help mature GPL’s DevSecOps implementation and have a strong desire to automate processes rather than doing them twice. The candidate will leverage the latest DevSecOps tools and methodologies to deliver value to our customers quickly, efficiently, and repeatedly. As a member of the GPL DSO Team, you will be responsible for developing software in support of some of the most cutting-edge efforts in the world and participate in establishing an updated software development environment. You will have the opportunity to be a part of a high-performing team, directly supporting a variety of programs’ adoption of modern software development best practices. We care about our employees and offer a generous benefits package: 401K, PTO, and work/life balance and more. Desired Skills • Deep experience designing and implementing cloud agnostic Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Configuration as Code (CaC) solutions (e.g., Terraform, Pulumi, Ansible). • Proven track record provisioning, scaling, and managing multi cloud resources (AWS, Azure, GCP, or hybrid environments). • Expertise with cloud native container ecosystems: Kubernetes (or OpenShift) orchestration, Helm/OPA/Kustomize package management, admission controllers, logging & monitoring stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK), service mesh (Istio, Linkerd) and traffic observability. • Strong Linux systems administration and scripting skills (Bash, Python, Go). • Mastery of enterprise grade version control (Git, GitHub/GitLab) and branch management strategies. • Security as Code mindset: integrating SAST/DAST, IaC scanning, secret management, and policy as code (OPA, Sentinel) into CI/CD pipelines. • Hands on experience building automated CI/CD pipelines with continuous testing, artifact signing, delivery and deployment (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Argo CD, Tekton). • Familiarity with Test Driven Development and shift left testing practices. • Contributions to open source projects or active participation in the cloud native community. • Knowledge of government DevSecOps frameworks and compliance standards (FedRAMP, DoD RMF, NIST800 53, DISA STIGs). • Active U.S. government security clearance (Secret or higher) and relevant certifications (e.g., CCSP, AWS Certified Security, CNCF Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist). • Self motivated, collaborative, and adaptable across diverse client environments; demonstrated growth mindset. #LMSpaceDevOps Other Important Information By applying to this job, you are expressing interest in this position and could be considered for other career opportunities where similar skills and requirements have been identified as a match.
